Solar Hot Water Design and Installation

This program provides entry-level training in solar water training. Participants will be trained using the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). The curriculum introduces students to solar thermal applications, theory, safety issues, troubleshooting and monitoring, solar thermal design and installation for residences, small businesses, and commercial buildings. The curriculum is already developed and a training program will be held on Molokai and Lanai this summer.
Certification: North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) Certification in Solar Hot Water

Hours: 80 non-credit hours
Dates: Fall 2011 • Cost: $895
