Introduction to Drawing

What a pleasure it is to draw something you see. This beginning drawing class will start with classical techniques for sketching objects and move on to free-form expressions on paper. You will use pencils, charcoal, or pen to draw flowers, sketch a person, and make a cartoon. Come away with a basic understanding of the fundamentals and an enhanced confidence to approach your drawing.
Cat Blake studied art at Skidmore College, L’Ecole de Beaux Arts and La Sorbonne in Paris, France, and the Kansas City Art Institute. She has illustrated one book and two book covers.
