Cover Crops Improve Soil Quality for Farm and Garden

Learn how to improve your soil quality with this class on “cover crops” from Organic Farmer, Gerry Ross. Cover crops are non-cash crops that can be planted as part of a regular crop rotation in garden and farms. Benefits include increased soil organic matter, erosion control, attraction of beneficial insects, weed suppression, nitrogen fixing, and improving mulch among many others. You will learn inexpensive way to build soil quality through the many varieties of cover crops with examples from extensive trials at Kupa’a Farm.
