Week #1 - How Stuff Works
How Stuff Works: The Tech World—Ready to put together a computer? How do chefs make the perfect pasta? This is the “How to” week for you. Put together a computer, learn to take CSI fingerprints and what supercomputers can do. This class runs from Monday through Thursday (Friday is King Kamehameha Day) The 5th day (Thursday, June 23): Field trip to the Maui Research & Technology Park visit a variety of exciting, new technology companies, and peek into possible careers for you! - Rick Ortiz
What's Inside that Expensive Case? Interested in a career that involves technology and computers? Take a computer apart and/or build one from scratch. Learn how things work together and the tasks a technician might be called upon to troubleshoot and fix.
